We have just released a new firmware update for MultiBall that significantly improves how your system manages its own tracking precision.
Once installed, this update will make your MultiBall system even more robust, ensuring it runs at 100% detection accuracy while eliminating the need for technical maintenance.
Benefits of the Firmware Update
The Firmware Update 3.1.3 makes your system smarter and easier to manage:
New Automatic Sensor Calibration: A completely overhauled automatic sensor calibration process now handles environmental changes intelligently and is even more robust. It ensures your detection tracking stays top-notch on its own.
One-Click Remote Calibration: If you ever change your installation, move the system for an event, or replace a sensor, you can now trigger a full calibration with a single click in your Admin at any time. No tools or manual switches are required.
One-Time Setup for Permanent Convenience
To unlock these new features, your system's internal controllers need a quick firmware update. Because this is a hardware-level change, it does require you to manually open the console cover this one-time to flick a few switches.
It is a five-minute task, but once it is done, you will never have to open the console cover for a sensor calibration again.
How to Do the 5 Minute Update
Before you start, make sure you have access to the system settings in the Admin and the system is online. You will need physical access to the system and have to open the top console cover so you can reach the controllers.
Watch the video tutorial or follow the steps below:
1. Navigate: Log into your Admin and go to Settings, then Updates, and scroll down to Firmware Updates.
2. Start: Check if the 3.1.3 firmware update is available for your MultiBall and click the "Update Now" button to start the update wizard.
3. Follow the Steps: The wizard will walk you through which switches to move on the controllers in the console and when.
4. Finish: The new version 3.1.3 is now installed and you can close the console cover.
The improved automatic sensor calibration is now enabled.
Easier Control in the Admin
On top of that, you will find a new "Sensors" tab in your Admin settings. This is where you can now trigger a manual calibration remotely whenever you prefer.
We highly recommend doing this update soon to ensure your system stays at its best.
